The Wap is a protocol of transmission developed to transmit  pages " WML, the language used by the mobile phone. It is optimized to transmit to 600 bauds (the maximum speed currently available for a mobile phone).
The interaction between telephone Wap and server Wap  is very similar to that between a normal Web browser and an http server. In the language WML the pages HTML are called cards and they represent each screen that appears on the display of a phone. The transmission Wap has three stadium:
1) the consumer performs a request using the phone, that is forwarded to the wap proxy through the protocol Wtp.
2) the Wap proxy transmits it to the web server through the protocol http.
3) the web server receives the request, which is elaborated to produce an answer.
