GasGuard chiude automaticamente la fornitura di gas prevenendo così una maggiore perdita di gas e quindi una potenziale esplosione o un incendio. Gas Guard è progettato principalmente per grandi appartamenti,case, fabbriche e cooperative, laddove il gas rappresenta la fonte principale per il riscaldamento, la cucina etc. Può inoltre essere usato su case mobili e navi. Gas Guard rileva la concentrazione di gas nell’ambiente nonché la temperatura. Gas Guard chiude automaticamente la fornitura di gas se il volume di gas in una stanza aumenta fino oltre 3500 ppm oppure se i sensori rilevano un aumento della temperatura fino a70°C o più. Perché misurare la temperatura? Se, indipendentemente dalla perdita di gas, per qualsiasi motivo nell’ambiente si verificasse un incendio, la temperatura aumenterebbe fino a cca 60-70°C. In questo caso il sensore di temperatura comanda la chiusura automatica del gas evitando così ulteriori e più gravi danni. Gas Guard devessere installato da un installatore qualificato. Gas Guard shall detect the Gas concentration and the air temperature. If the Gas concentration is higher than 3500 ppm or if the temperature is higher than 70°C, the output shall be activated. Why thetemperature measurement? If, indipendent from the gas leak, for any reason a fire breaks out, the temperature in the air will increase to app. 60-70°C.   In this case the temperature measurement will secure that the Gas flow stops and thereby it will also limit the damage from the fire. Gas Guardshall be supplied with two LEDs (one red and one green) and one reset button. - when the Gas concentration is above 2500 ppm the red LED shall start to flash - when the Gas concentration drops below 2300 ppm the LED stops flashing Every time the output has been activated, the reset button shall be pressed to reset the circuit.
