trough the Monsters Park.
The Renaissance Villa
delle Meraviglie, one of the most important monumental parks and evidence of a past
artistic esoteric culture, had been neglected by political institutions until a few years
ago when a heartbroken protest was held against its evident degradation.
The suggestive idea of the initiation journey in the 'Garden of the Monsters' in Bomarzo,
proposed by Giovanni Bettini (who, by the
way, took care of its restoration without any state financial support), throws a light on
the mysterious images while giving the holy wood a hint of Pier Francesco Orsini's
enigmatic, visionary personality.
