A Laboratory for imaging-education will coordinate the INTERACTIVE MEDIA Project .
The laboratory will:
1. examine similar projects about multimedia and artistic heritage;
2. provide for the installation of the lab equipment for the four sections of the Project:
- internet communications
- video-editing and audiovisual assembling
- file creation and research coordination
- paper publishing and preparation of exhibitions;
3. assemble the collected material and publish multimedia titles on CDs;
4. establish internet contacts with school laboratories as partners who promote multimedia
applications and can exchange ideas, experiences, etc and as supporters who either are
interested in the diffusion of the artistic heritage or have the professional technical
competence in specific fields;
5. prepare mobile exhibitions, sum up the different school projects through the editing of
CDs and multimedia titles;
6. publish the students' best research works which will be useful for the diffusion of the
image of our artistic heritage and for a methodological comparison;
7. invite schools to take part in the Project - after a formal consent from the Organi
Collegiali - by exchanging materials, creating data files about art places, promoting
settings, musical or drama performances in their sites;
8. train the working staff: laboratory technicians, software instructors, graphic art
experts etc;
9. appoint the people responsible for the different sections: research, planning,
animation, computer graphics, editation etc;
10. plan meetings with experts in the multimedia field: film directors, advertisers,
graphic art experts etc;
11. cooperate with Public Institutions, tourist agencies, cultural foundations, libraries,
etc for the diffusion of culture and the promotion of historic and artistic sites through
traditional and multimedia editations;
12. encourage those initiatives which promote the national artistic heritage; denounce the
cases of negligence and neglect involving the media and the public opinion;
13. look for partner schools in some chosen areas which are not mentioned in the official
turistic itineraries but have a remarkable artistic, historical, cultural value;
