1) Participation of other schools
During this first phase the Liceo Scientifico 'C.Caminiti' will contact those high schools
which are situated in the areas around the following art sites:

But the Project may involve all the schools which are interested in the image promotion of
those new art sites which -even if not mentioned above- are remarkable from a historical,
environmental and artistic point of view.
We will plan meetings and exchanges with the nearby schools which are working on this
field and using the new technologies, as for example:
Liceo Classico 'Gulli e Pennisi ' - Acireale
Liceo Scientifico 'Leonardo' - Giarre
IPSIA 'Sabin-Majorana' - Giarre
IPIA 'E.Majorana' - Messina
Istituto 'Ignatianum' - Messina
The exchanges will be carried out through the new communication technologies which have
destroyed any barrier of time and space.
The location-indipendent use of Internet will allow different schools to compare their
methods, research strategies and acquisitions.
Our school will:
a) sort out the e-mail materials according to the different geographical areas they deal
with and store them in a Central Data Bank.
b) spread useful suggestions and suggest school topics and methods for school performances
set in the chosen environmental and artistic sceneries.
According to the Project schools will take an active part either through researches or
through performances; their task can range from data transmission on the national artistic
and historical heritage to performance production , to cooperative writing of plays,
subjects and film-scripts for video clips set in the art sites mentioned in the Project.
The common theme among the different experiences will be the idea of the 'journey' meant
as a recovery, in each area, of important historical evidences, especially of the less
known ones, of those which are ignored by school programmes and tourist itineraries.
