THE CASTLE
For decades the Liceo Ginnasio "D. Borrelli" has chosen the historical castle in Santa Severa and Fuscaldo Mountain nearby as the natural set for its long tradition of classic representations.
Can we use modern multimedia
languages (from videotapes to CD Roms ) to express the contact between art, culture,
history and nature conveyed through the performances of these classic theatre
representations?
The proposed subject has the following title: LA MORTE
DELLA PIZIA (Pizia's Death).

The tragedy, inspired by Durrenmatt's homonymous work , has been adapted by two students of the Liceo classico 'D. Borrelli' in Santa Severa ,P.Rizza e F. D'Alfonso, and was performed in the historical castle during the AICC National Meeting themed 'Il Punto sul Teatro Greco' (A review on the Greek theatre) in 1999.
