TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS OF ZDT

Following facilities are subject to ZDT (PETROCHEMIA PLOCK S.A. department for Technical Supervision).

    1. Process piping of nominal diameter from 50mm (included) destined to transport:
  1. Toxic liquids or gases under operating pressure over 600 kPa(g).
  2. Flammable gases and liquids under pressure higher than 600 kPa(g).
  3. Steam under operating pressure over 3200 kPa(g).
  4. Hao water in temperature higher than 100°C and pressure higher than 3200 kPa(g).
  5. Pipes destined for hazardous materials e.g. sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, caustics, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and chlorine independently of pipe diameter and process conditions. above mentioned lines shall meet code of ZDT/R/74 along rule n°42/GDR/91.
  6. Class of lines and tests of welded joints see dedicated table (valid for fluids as per points A, B, C, D & E).
    1. Tanks of volume >100 m2 of gas cushion < 70 kPa and of negative pressure < 1 kPa for store of flammable liquids and shall meet rules ZDT/N1/74 and or ASTM, DIN.
