Hobbies
-What I like mostly to do is to travel, mixing the ‘having fun’
sensation with architecture. I love to draw drafts, take photos and to film
landscapes, architectural works, maybe some of its technical particulars and
characteristics and anything which may represent the place where its placed
like surrounding materials, smells, the people, traditions etc.
-I like to reed books and monographs related to architecture, I always try to get some suggestions out of these for some project on the way. I have read: Saper vedere l’architettura (B. Zevi), Parole nel vuoto (A. Loos), Progetti di carta (A. Rossetti), etc., and the monographic works of : C. Scarpa, S. Lewerentz, F. L. Wright, L. Barragan, N. Foster, P. Eisenman, etc. and I’m subscribed for three magazines: Casabella, Area, Domus.
-I have a great passion for custom motor bikes,
I like to watch them, study and eventually modify them.
I do this not only whit motor bikes, but also with other stuff like lamps, photos,
bookshelves etc.
-I love fishing, not to feed myself with fish, but its just a way in which I try to get out of the daily chaos, trying to relax and to think over in freedom.
-I listen to jazz music (J. Coltrane, B. Evans, D. Ellington, C. Hawkins, M. Davis, G. Miller, C. Parker, B. Webster etc.) to which I often add a good cigar whit a glass of a good rum. Like fishing this is another way to find peace, to relax , to mediate, to think.
-I like to collect foreign coins, bottles of beer from all over the world.
National Service
I declare that I have done one year of National
Service in the “Astronave a pedali” association of Eboli. My job
was to projecting and carrying out of the theatre stage design and school related
events.
