Pantelleria

Pantelleria is a very beautiful islands which offers not only beaches and scuba diving but also hills and mountains, sulphurous hot springs and natural Saunas. In particular the Saunas with their hot sulphurous vapors (30-35 °C) are very useful for scuba divers with ear problems!
One of the most beatiful spots in Pantelleria is the Specchio di Venere (Mirror of Venus) Lake. Its mud is rich in minerals and very useful for therapeutic and cosmetics pourposes.
In Pantelleria the u/w visibility is great as you can see from this photograph of Maria taken at -20m.

Pantelleria is reacheable by plane from Palermo and by boat from Trapani.
