A group of aviators, 1943-45 From A.Mascolo file.
Why is this section dedicated to WWII 1943-1945 aviators ?
After the 1943 armistice, Italian Aeronautic was reorganized in South Italy and it is returned to fly in the Campomarino skies together with Anglo-Americans troops.
It was an important period where the generosity of Americans, English, Australians, South Africans, Greeks, Canadians, Yugoslavs and Italians aviators contributed to free the european countries and recorded Campomarino country in the national and Italian aviation history.
