Chef Michael Alexander Barnes

MICHAEL ALEXANDER BARNES , son of the well known american actor Walter Lee Barnes and the german actress Britta Barnes was born in Munich,Germany in November 1963. Studying at the State Professional Hotel Institute at Fiuggi (Lazio, Italy) he graduated from the StateProfessional Hotel Institute at Acquapesa Marina (Calabria, Italy) specialising in hotel management . Currently he lives in Rome where he had attended a course for somelliers at the Italian Association of Somelliers (AIS) and a course in vegeterien meat production techniques. He has gained wide experience working in large hotels, tourist resorts and renowned restaurants worldwide, holding the positions of "Chef de Cuisine" & "Food and Beverage Manager". At present Michael Alexander Barnes runs the restaurant"Il Cantuccio del Lago" in Anguillara Sabazia, a quaint and antique town on the lake of Bracciano in Lazio, Italy where discerning gourmets can taste servings of exquisite Mediterranean and Vegetarian cuisine.
