ANDREA CAVIGLIOTTI BUILDING PRACTICE OF THE MEDIEVAL PSALTERY 3° Stage of Medieval Music COMMUNAL INSTITUTE OF ANCIENT MUSIC "STANISLAO CORDERO DI PAMPARATO" PAMPARATO (Cuneo) Italy 22-31 July 1999

During this workshop every pupil had the opportunity of making his own hog-nose psaltery, buying and building a kit expressly realized from Andrea Cavigliotti.
Pupils could work in an equipped workshop under the carefull guidance of Andrea Cavigliotti. All the 5 pupils could finish their instruments in the 10 days workshop.

I'd like, with what follows, to document this interesting experience which I'll go to repeat this year from 24 July to 5 August 2000.
