Article1- Introduction
The Social Championship aim is to make the most of those canine subjects who
deserve to be significantly marked on the zootechnical aspect because of their exceptional qualities.
The "Social Champion" tytle is assigned during the " Annual Social Championship Show" in an expressely founded category, judged at the end of the developments of the other categories.
The C.I.T. requires a particularly strong attention and severity from the judges designated for the Social Championship class since they have to propose the subjects for such an important tytle. As a matter of fact, only those subjects who will better express the Standard of Breed because of their morphology and character will be conferred on the tytle of Social Champion.
In the evaluation of the character the skilfulness of socialization of each
subject will have great importance.
Since this tytle will be meaningful in the breeding choices too, the confirmation of the tytle will be given only in presence of all those
medical certificates concerning the main hereditary deseases for each breed, in the specific period. Therefore the Club Italiano del Terranova is allowed to ask for any necessary change or integration of health requirements, according with the requests of its Technical Breeding Commitee.
Because of the arguments above mentioned, the Social Champions will be as
much as the judges will consider worthy of.

Article 2- Enrolment
Only dogs of Newfoundland breed registered in ROI (LOI), other origin book of any other country member of F.C.I. or, if not, whose origin book is recognized by F.C.I., who got the tytle of Excellent in the usual class ( youngs, open, champions or veterans) in at least one Show or Special Show (even in the same day of the Annual Social Championship Show), can enter the Social Championship.
The enrolment is the written deed necessary to admit one dog in a Social Championship; it has to be made by the owners by entyrely filling in the specific form; this form has to be sent to the C.I.T. Secretary's office in the same way and terms as the enrolment form of the "Annual Social Championship Show". Furthermore, enroling the dogs in the show the owners declare they will bring the medical certificates, described in the following Arts. 3 and 4, before ten o' clock of the show day; each certificate must be in two copies, an original one and a certified copy (this one will be placed in the archives of the CIT secretary's office).

The subjects excluded can not be judged and the owners won't be refunded the

The subjects admitted in the judgment must be kept at the judges desposal.
The dogs not present at the roll call for the judgment will loose the right to be judged and the enrolment fee won't be refunded.
The Social Championship class will be called in the following order:
Social Championship Class young males
Social Championship Class young females
Social Championship Class males
Social Championship Class females
The judges of every single class must have judged the Open males and Open
females class in the "Annual Social Championship Show".

*
The judgments will be contemporaneous and cannot be reconciled. Each judge ,
once evaluated the qualities of the subjects, gives the ENCI representative his place-list of the subjects who deserve to compete for the Social Champion tytle. The E.N.C.I. representative , once compared the lists, will assigne the tytles only to those subjects who got two approvals. At the end of the show, the E.N.C.I. representative will also write a report on the tytles assignation.
