Domenico Romano lives among other artists in Positano, a very original painter of landscapes and seascapes. He has chosen to paint on very small surfaces.

The choice of such reduced sizes that seem almost miniatures arises from the need to capture the ever-changing play of colours caused by the reflection of light. Glimmers and enchanting hues which want to expand the possibility of the eye towards the consciousness and the being. These are a gift to be respected by whomsoever lives with them. To understand them alone, the journey through these colours can give them an estimate of their intrinsic value. An aesthetic approach which relates and does not exaggerate or split into cold slivers. Eyes that rather listen to suggestions which become small messages, the ancient art of extrapolation of ideas from inert materials which fix the memory of emotion in the form of segments of life.
