The Monster family, the point of reference of the segment naked from the 93 today, introduces for model the 2002 Monster 620 i.e available, from October, in the versions base and S (Sport). Completely redesigned taking advantage of matured experience after the birth of the MS4, maintaining weight (177 Kg) to the level more low of the category. Other point of force of the new " Monster " 620 i.e. is the new refraining system to two front discs from 320 mm that, thanks to the new setting front staple, maintain the motorbike coupled to the land also in the refrained ones to the limit. Of new design it is the multi-functional electronic dashboard that allows to visualize, to need, the oil temperature or the clock thanks to an appropriate key. All the versions are equipped of the immobilizer.

ENGINE AND TECHNIQUE

Engine increased regarding previous the version, to injection electronic; able to develop 60 hp (available also the mini-powered version) to 9500 giri/min (8 in more of the version previous) and from a 53,3 brace of Nm to 6750 rpm (3,3 Nm the increase), the all exalted one from more fluid supply that allows I lengthen until 9500 rpm, very 1500 turns in more regarding Monster 600 of the slid year. E' be increased the diameter of the valves, the airbox has a volume increased, and is new also the groups of drainage, (with catalyst); these modifications have improved the respiration of the motor, containing the consumptions, and above all the polluting emissions and the exhaust gas, a lot that, all the new versions, respect the normative new Euro 2.

THE CHASSIS

The 620 i.e. and the 620S i.e. are introduced with new a chassis, derived from the MS4, but with differentiated height. The 620 i.e. it maintains the dimensions of model 2001, while for the 620S i.e., is increased the light to earth, in order to concur an employment sport. The new staple has been redesigned with appropriated calibration, while the posterior one has been entrusted to new a mono-shock-absorber of the Sachs, adjustable in extension in the brake hydraulic and in the pre-charge on the motivating force, it resumes the victorious outline of the Superbike, abandoning the classic bow. On the version S., moreover, it is possible to personalize the guide order, modifying the height of the Sachs adjustable rear monoshock absorber, acting on the suitable strut.
