All Work, but some play.

What did you do on your holidays?

All Work,

Work, work, work ! No, I relaxed and enjoyed myself as well:  I was up at the Film festival in Locarno. I'll start work again soon on the finishings of the film which we just shot and then I'd like to take a trip down to Venice for the festival there. I'll take some holidays next year. I've been telling myself that for the last 10 years.

but some play.

To tell the truth  I did have a working holiday a few months ago up in CourMayor.  Shooting a spot for one of the the big kiddies biscuit makers. Up at dawn every day to play the ranger with a following of 6 boy scouts and three crazy bears. Quite an adventure even if I didn't get all that much time to enjoy the scenery. The bears were enormous, with huge heavy heads and actors sweating inside. Each bear had at least three other people controlling it remotely from the outside, one the eyes, another the mouth and another the ears.  We had to stop every half hour to let the actors get a breath of fresh air and rest their limbs from the weight of the costume.
