7-PURPOSE COMBINED MACHINE Type STETON C-400.
The combined machine is formed by a surface planer with adjustable and tilting tables; the planer shaft has 3 tools and is manufactured in forged steel, statically and dynamically balanced in order to avoid any vibration. In the thicknesser planer unit the table is kept perfectly right by a rectified central column measuring diam.180 mm., and wood is drawn by two rolls, one of them is helicoidally cogged, and the other one is smooth, driven by a two speeds reducer. The boring device and its table slides on prismatic and adjustable guides. The blades sharpening is made by a cup grinding wheel mounted on pierced spindle and a mounting sliding on the boring device table. By rotating the hand-wheel the spindle disappears completely under the table. The tool support shaft, manufactured by one piece, has a mm.7 slide for tools mounting. The circular saw is independently driven by the planer shaft and it can totally disappear under the table. The machine has also a table sliding on adjustable bearings, which is used for tenoning squaring.
