Hi, my name is Lanfranco. On my page "conoscimi" you  have my name, my family, were i was born and were i live, Ancona. I retired on january 1st,2000  after having spent many years at sea as master on the merchant navy.-

I received for that at the end of july 2001 one golden medal from the Italian Navy Ministry.

During that years i crossed every ocean and visited almost all the countries with a sea border.- I passed almost all the straits and canals. I entered many big rivers like Mississippi, Orinoco, Parana and Amazonas .I never visited the west coast of the  South America.-

My favorites ships were general cargo liners and i made regular trips from the Mediterranean sea to  Venezuela , Mexico and The US Gulf Coast. From Italy to the US East Coast ; to East and South Africa; to India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; to Brazil,Uruguay and Argentina; to New Zealand; to Somaliland with banana ships. When that ships were replaced by the container ones i started working  with the bulk vessels.- I loaded grain for many years mostly at the Mississippi river elevators and in the Paranà River to Italy and various countries. Also Vancouver,BC was called several times. When, after about 20 years my company collapsed i started  carring also minerals in bulk  worldwide.
