Antenna

Radiating system used to transmit and receive radio signals. There are many different types of antenna, whose dimensions vary with the frequency and the desired gain. Common antenna types include:

dipole
vertical stylus
Yagi
loop
long wire
dish, etc.

Rotor

Wire antennas are usually fixed, while directional antennas are beamed to the target by an azimuthal rotor. Those used for satellites o for EME are also moved on the vertical plane by another rotor.
