From the 4th room, the exhibition of Taranto necropolis’ finds begins.
Two funerary statues, two maid-servants having a melancholy attitude, welcome us.

AncellaIn the middle of the room there are an archaic sarchofagus and a funerary bed (kline); then, two rooms’ tombs doors belonging to the hellenisticc age; besides, on the left wall, we can admire gables or architraves’ friezes (metopes) of funerary monuments (naiskos).
