LA PINONI, UNA MODELLA PER FELLINI

Ad un simpatico, caratteristico personaggio, "la Maria di Pinoni" Mario Magnanelli si è ispirato per una serie di quadri della sua vasta produzione. La "Pinoni" che tramandava con i tarocchi la leggenda della maga Artemisia, nel granaio dei Malatesta, ebbe il suo momento di celebrità, quando si rifiutò di incontrare Federico Fellini. Ai giornalisti che la cercavano, rispondeva infastidita: "... na, na, quel um porta a Roma a fè la putena" (no, no, quel, riferito al grande maestro, mi porta a Roma a fare la puttana). E così, dai molti scatti fotografici per il provino, il pittore ha realizzato una serie di opere tutte dedicate alla splendida, singolare figura della popolana di San Giovanni in Marignano.

MARIA DI PINONI, A MODEL FOR FELLINI

Mario magnanelli dedicated a series of pictures from his vast output to the curious figure of "Maria Pinoni", who kept alive the legend of the sorceress Artemis with her tarot cards. Maria knew her moment of greastest fame in Magnanelli's studio at San Giovanni in Marignano, when she refused to meet Fderico Fellini. As she told the few journalists who managed to interview her, "No, no, he'd only take me to Rome to be a whore". And from the many photos taken for her screen test, the artist drew inspiration for a series of painting dedicated to the strange and splendid figure of this local woman.
