Graziana Del Guercio, architect, after a lifetime spent in working in the cultural field, once at home started learning bobbin lace, using as many books (italian and not) she could find, her knowledge of a number of feminine arts, learnt since she was a child, her will to follow an artistic inspiration.

She knows many different bobbin lace techniques, from Cantù to Milan, to Torchon , Buck's Point, Honiton or Binche. She has been teaching for many years, first in a private way, then joining Bolsena Ricama lace and embroidery school. She took part for some years in the International competition of Sansepolcro International Lace Biennial; she gained the silver medal in 2000 and 2002.

She also took part in the annual lace meeting organised by the Bobbin Lace Teaching Centre of Le Puy-en-Velay (France), where in 2001 she gained a prize with her work "Angels".

She lives and teaches in Rome.
