As some of you may know from reading my previous newsletters, there's a new type of Digivice game in Japan called the D-3. In it you get two Digimon, V-mon and Wormmon.

While the main focus of the D-3 is armor evolution, the newest issue of V Jump has revealed how you can make your Wormmon and V-mon evolve naturally!

Once you've collected the Digimentals of Courage, Friendship, Love, and Reliability, Wormmon can evolve to Stingmon and V-mon can evolve to XV-mon.

Then using Jogress evolution, they can fuse together to form their Ultimate stages, Paildramon for V-mon and Dino Beemon for Wormmon!

If you have a WonderSwan in addition to the D-3, you can make them evolve to Mega!! You need the newest WonderSwan game, Tag Tamers. By hooking up the D-3 to the WonderSwan and using the Metal Greymon from that game, Paildramon can fuse with him to form Imperial Dramon! In the same way, Dino Beemon can fuse with a Mega Kabuterimon from that game to form Gran Kuwagamon!

I've also got some scans of some more brand new Digimon, just revealed in the D-3. Sometimes when you're searching for Digimentals, you will instead encounter one of these Mega beasts:

-Qinglongmon
-Zhuqiaomon
-Xuanwumon

Well, it's official! A new version of the D-3 will be released in late September and will be called D-3 Version 2. This new version will feature Tailmon (Gatomon) and Hawkmon. Although the first version of the D-3 came in two colors, black and blue/white, this new D-3 will only come in red/white.

As in the first version, you'll be able to collect the eight normal Digimentals (Courage, Friendship, Sincerity, Love, Reliability, Knowledge, Light, and Hope) in order to armor evolve to 8 different new forms! That means coming soon we'll be seeing more cool armor evolutions for Tailmon and Hawkmon. Look to my newsletter for scans from V Jump (hopefully the November issue will have some pics) and from the new series of cards (that's right, a new Booster 7 and Starter 4 will be out in mid October in Japan!).

In addition to the original 8 Digimentals, in the current version of the D-3, the Digimentals of Miracles and Kindness are also available. As I revealed in my last issue, in order to get the Digmental of Miracles, you need the D-Terminal. The same goes for the Digimental of Kindness. It is unknown whether these two Digimentals will also be available in the new D-3 or whether there will be new Digimentals.

It is expected that you will only be able to evolve to Mega by linking with the WonderSwan game, Tag Tamers, but so far it is unknown which Digimon you will need to Jogress with.

Following is information on the D-3:

D-3 Version 1
-Availability: on sale now in Japan
-Price: 3200 yen (approximately $30)
-Colors: black or blue/white

D-3 Version 2
-Availability: on sale late September in Japan
-Price: 3200 yen (approximately $30)
-Colors: red/white

Last month I revealed that the D-Terminal was necessary to find the Digimental of Miracles. If you have a D-Terminal, you can use the following steps to make the Digimentals of Miracles and Kindness.

Kindness: combine the Digimentals of Courage, Friendship, and Light
Miracles: combine the Digimentals of Sincerity, Hope, and Kindness

Following are some D-3 related pics you can download this month:

-D-3 Version 2
-The Digimental of Kindness

It is still unknown who the Digimental of Kindness belongs to. Many signs point to Ken, but since it is a pink rose shaped Digimental, some people think it might belong to Miyako.

As I stated last month, there is a new D-3 out in Japan. This one features Hawkmon's and Tailmon's evolution. I don't have any pics of Tailmon's evolutions, but I do have pics of all of Hawkmon's armored forms.

Of course you all know his evolution with the Digimental of Love, Holsmon, and with the Digimental of Sincerity, Shurimon. But now you can see pics of his other 8 forms, too!

Knowledge- Flybeemon
Friendship- Rinkmon
Reliability- Orcamon
Hope- Moosemon
Courage- Allomon
Light- Harpymon
Miracles- Peacockmon
Kindness- Toucanmon

I've also got pics of V-mon's and Wormmon's last few forms!

V-mon
Kindness- Kangaroomon

Wormmon
Kindness- Puttiemon
Miracles- Kongoumon

Not only is there a new D-3 in Japan, but a D-3 has been released in the US, too! I'm not clear on all the details as I don't own one myself, but here's what I've heard.

This D-3 comes in various colors, perhaps all the colors of the DigiDestineds' D-3s. Instead of having one D-3 with a couple Digimon in it, the US version lets you start with Hawkmon, Veemon, Armadillomon, Gatomon, and Patamon. Later on you'll also gain Wormmon. On the down side, you can only use the same Digimentals on the Digimon as are used in the show. So the only Digimon who can equip Courage is V-mon, etc. You won't get to see all the cool evolutions from the Japanese version. However, after certain points in the game, you will be able to evolve to Champion, Ultimate, and Mega.

The price for the US D-3 is $13.99 and you can find it at Toys R Us and other stores.

There are two new D-3s coming out in Japan. The first is D-3 V-mon Version Limited Edition. This is the same as the original D-3 featuring Wormmon and V-mon except for two things. The coloring is different and the bosses and enemies are different. I've scanned a picture for you to see, but the colors are really cool. The main body is clear plastic with black accents and the grips on the sides are blue. The enemies you'll fight are Volcamon (a Digimon from a Japanese promo battle card, he was based on the man who hosts the D-1 card tournaments, Volcano Oota), Anteiramon, Cherubimon, Archnemon, Mummymon, and Rapidmon. In addition to all that, you'll also be able to evolve to Imperial Dramon Fighter Mode, the upright humanoid form of Imperial Dramon. There will be more info in the February issue of V Jump (and the January issue of the newsletter!).

The next new D-3 is the long awaited D-3 Version 3, featuring Armadimon and patamon. There are two color choices, black/blue or white/yellow. More information will be available next month!
