Using the Schematic View
You can use the Schematic view to build a process tree. The Schematic view uses nodes to represent all the operators and edges between nodes to indicate the flow of image data between the operators.

There are some differences as to what you can do using the Schematic view, Workspace panel, and Timeline:
- You can see secondary connections in the Schematic view, but not in the Workspace panel or Timeline. An example of a secondary connection is a Reveal source for Paint.
- It is easier to connect operators in the Schematic view.
- In the Schematic view, you can clearly see when one operator (or stream) is used in two places in the process tree.
