Setting Transparency Preferences

Use these preferences to control how the transparent (or semi-transparent) portions of an image appear in the viewport when you use Transparent or Alpha Overlay view modes.

To set transparency preferences:

1. In the Host category, click Transparency.

The Transparency preferences appear.



2. Set the following options as required.
   
   

   Use:	To:
   Pattern Size	Set the size of the squares in the pattern. You can select Small, Medium, or Large.
   Pattern color boxes	Set the colors of the alternating squares in the pattern. Click a square and use the Pick Color dialog that appears. See Using the Pick Color Dialog.
   Opacity field	Set the Alpha Overlay color and opacity. See Using View Modes.

   
   
   
3. Click OK.
