Saving a Workspace

Once you create a workspace and modify the composites and Paint branches, you save your work. You can save an existing workspace under its current name or save it with another name.

Note: combustion workspaces are saved with the .cws file extension.

To save a workspace:
  1. Choose File | Save Workspace, or press Ctrl+S (Windows) or Command+S (Macintosh).
  2. The workspace is saved.

    If it is the first time you save the workspace, the Save Workspace dialog appears.

  3. Navigate to the directory where you want to save your file.
  4. Enter a filename for the workspace in the File field.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The workspace is saved under the specified name.

To save an existing workspace with a different name:
  1. Choose File | Save Workspace As, or press Ctrl+Shift+S (Windows) or Command+Shift+S (Macintosh).
  2. The Save Workspace dialog appears.

  3. Navigate to the directory where you want to save your file.
  4. Enter the new name for the workspace in the File field.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The workspace is saved under the new name.
