Getting Media onto the System
There are several ways of getting media onto your system:
- Install media from a temporary storage device (such as a CD-ROM, JAZ® drive, or even floppy disk).
- Copy media across a network.
- Digitize audio and video (if your system is equipped with the proper hardware). For information on digitizing media, refer to your video hardware documentation.
- Use Quick Capture to capture from supported QuickTime hardware cards and devices. For information, see Using Quick Capture.
- Download media from the internet.
The way you decide to get media onto your system will depend on your hardware and media requirements.
Note: You can also use media on a network. Network access to the footage is required for network rendering.
