Reshaping Layers

In a 3D composite, you can change the shape of a layer by moving any of its corners along the X and Y axes in your scene.

Note: You can also use the Shear tool to change the size of the corner angles of the layer. For information, see Shearing Layers.

To reshape a layer:
  1. Select the layer.
  2. In the Layer controls, click the Four-Corner Shape button.
  3. Click any of the transform tools in the Toolbar: Arrow, Rotate, Scale, Shear, or Pivot.
  4. Corner handles appear in the four corners of the layer.

  5. Click and drag the corner handles in a viewport to reshape the layer. When the cursor is away from the corners, you can use the selected tool to transform the layer as usual.
  6. To reset the Four-Corner shape, click the Shape Reset button in the Layer controls.
  7. To use the default layer shape, click the Normal Shape button in the Layer controls.
