Naming Nodes

Each operator you add is automatically assigned a default name. For example, when a Rectangular Mask operator is added to a branch, the node is named Rectangular Mask.

Just as in the Workspace panel, you can assign more descriptive names to nodes in the Schematic view.

To change the name of a node:

1. Select the node.
2. Click once to select the node, then click the label, and type the new name in the field that appears.

Note: You can also right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) and choose Rename.

If you rename an operator in the Schematic, the Workspace panel updates to show the new name. Conversely, if an operator is renamed in the Workspace panel, the node is renamed in the Schematic.
