Using the Operators Panel

Use the Operators panel to quickly add operators to nodes in the Schematic view. In the panel, you can create a custom list of "favorites" for fast access to operators frequently used in a workspace.

To add a node using the Operators panel:
  1. In the Schematic view (F12), select the node(s) to which you want to add operators.
  2. Note: You can also add operators in the Workspace panel using the Operators panel.

  3. In the Operators panel (F5), select an operator category from the list.
  4. The available operators for the selected category appear.

  5. Select an operator from the list.
  6. The operator is applied to the selected node(s).

Note: Installed third-party plug-ins appear in their own categories in the Operators list. For example, if you have DigiEffects™ Channel Delay™ installed, the filter appears in the list as "DE Channel Delay," not in the Channel group.

To make a custom "favorites" list:
  1. In the Operators panel (F5), select an operator category (for example, Blur) from the list.
  2. Click Add Favorite, and select an operator (for example, Motion Blur) from the list.
  3. In the operator category list, click Favorites.
  4. The operator is added to the default "Favorites" list. The default favorites include Paint, Composite, Text, Particles, Discreet Color Corrector, and Discreet Keyer.

Note: The operators added as Favorites are saved in the combustion settings, not with the workspace. If the number of operators listed under Favorites is more than 28, additional pages appear.

To remove an operator from the list of favorites:
  1. From the operators category list, select Favorites.
  2. Click Remove, and click the operator you want to remove from the list.
  3. The six default favorites cannot be removed.
