Working with Brushes

When you launch combustion, the default Brushes palette appears. It includes both hard-edged round brushes and soft-edged airbrushes.

Hard-edged round brushes impart a constant outline and density to your painting strokes. In contrast, airbrushes are soft-edged and pressure sensitive: the longer you press on the mouse button, the denser the color.

To access the Brush controls:

On the Paint Controls panel, do one of the following:

• Click the Brush button.
• On the Brushes palette, click the right arrow and choose Edit Brush from the menu.



The Brush controls appear.
