Changing the Color

Use the color box to change the solid color attributes of the text object.

To change the color of a text object:

1. Select the text object.
2. In the Text Controls panel (F8), click Attributes.
3. Click Face.
4. Click the small gray box on the Face button to enable Face. When enabled, the small box is highlighted yellow.

The Face controls are displayed.

5. Click Solid.



6. To pick a color, do one of the following:
• Click the color box and select a color in the Pick Color dialog, then click OK.
• Click the Color Picker tool, and click the color you want in the viewport.

The text is the selected color.

Note: In Paint and text, clicking the color box in either the Attributes panel or the Modes controls displays the Pick Color dialog.
