Changing the Color
Use the color box to change the solid color attributes of the text object.
To change the color of a text object:
- Select the text object.
- In the Text Controls panel (F8), click Attributes.
- Click Face.
- Click the small gray box on the Face button to enable Face. When enabled, the small box is highlighted yellow.
The Face controls are displayed.
- Click Solid.
- To pick a color, do one of the following:
- Click the color box and select a color in the Pick Color dialog, then click OK.
- Click the Color Picker tool, and click the color you want in the viewport.
The text is the selected color.
Note: In Paint and text, clicking the color box in either the Attributes panel or the Modes controls displays the Pick Color dialog.
