About Filters
This chapter describes the filters provided with combustion. They are described in the order in which they appear in the Operators menu for Composite operators, and the Effects menu for Paint operators. The chapter also includes information on using third-party plug-ins.
Filters (such as a Blur) and more complex operators (such as the Bit Depth Converter) are listed together in filter categories in the menus and on the Operators panel. This chapter focuses on the filters. The following filters and operators are covered in other chapters:
- For information on 3D Post filters, see Using 3D Post Filters in combustion.
- For information on Grain filters, see Adding and Removing Grain.
- For information on the Discreet Keyer, see Discreet Keyer.
- For information on Mask operators, see Using Masks.
- For information on the Stabilize filters, see Stabilizing.
Note: Some filters such as Resize, Motion Blur, and Difference Keyer are not available in the Paint operator.
