Tint

Use Tint to change the tint of an image while retaining its original shading and contours. The effect is similar to looking at an image through a color lens.

Note: Tint operates on the Hue values of an image. If the image has no Hue (if it is black and white or grayscale), this filter has no effect.

Color

Determines the color of the tint you are applying. To set the color:

• Click the color box and select a color using the Pick Color dialog.
• Click the color picker and sample a color in the active viewport. In the Toolbar, enable Area Sample, then click and drag your cursor over the area to sample the average color in that area.

Amount

Determines how much tint to apply to the image.
