Displace
Use Displace to offset the pixels of the current layer by an amount determined by the pixel values in the source layer. The source layer acts as a 2D displacement map. Brighter pixels in the source layer move pixels in the current layer a larger amount, while darker pixels move pixels by a smaller amount.
Use this filter to create controlled warping effects; for example, to make a still image of a flag look like it is flowing in the wind, apply a Displace filter to the still image, using footage of flowing satin as a source.
LayerSelects a layer to use as a displacement map.
Channel XDetermines which channel from the source layer is used to offset the pixels along the X-axis.
Channel YDetermines which channel from the source layer is used to offset the pixels along the Y-axis.
Scale XSets the maximum value that pixels move in the X direction.
Scale YSets the maximum value that pixels move in the Y direction.
Offset XSpecifies the initial movement of the current layer's pixels in the X direction. Increasing the offset increases the range of the Scale X property.
Offset YSpecifies the initial movement of the current layer's pixels in the Y direction. Increasing the offset increases the range of the Scale Y property.
