Color Controls
Use the Color controls to correct any color spill that remains in the front image after the keying process.
Note: When you first open the Color controls, the seven color curves are one on top of another and appear as one.
The following curves appear in the Color controls.
Hue ShiftShifts a hue toward the Hue Shift Target.
SuppSuppresses a specific color from a hue. Color suppression reduces the saturation of the Suppression Target color.
SatChanges the saturation of a hue.
RedChanges the value of the Red component in a hue.
GreenChanges the value of the Green component in a hue.
BlueChanges the value of the Blue component in a hue.
LUMModifies the luminosity of a hue.
The following controls are also available.
DeleteDeletes a control point on the curve.
Reset SelectedResets the selected curve to its default.
Note: To reset all the curves at once, click Reset under the Setup button.
EnableEnables the color correction. Toggle this on and off to view or hide the effect of the color correction as you work.
Color Suppression TargetDetermines which color to suppress. To select a color, click the picker and sample a color in the viewport. By default, the color suppression target is the key color.
Hue Shift TargetDetermines the color to use instead of the unwanted color spill. When you apply a hue shift, the unwanted hues are replaced by the hue shift target. To specify this target color, click the picker and sample a color from the image. For example, if you are removing blue spill from hair, you set the hue shift target to the hair color.
PlotPlots a color in the hue spectrum. Click the picker and sample a color from the image. The color you sampled is represented by a vertical red line in the color spectrum.
