Rewire Controls

Rewiring color channels redirects the information contained in one channel to another, and in some cases, makes adjustments to that information.

To rewire color channels:

Select a mode from the Rewire list.

The following options are available.

Normal

Returns the clip to its original values.

Mono

Creates a monochrome (black and white or grayscale) version of the clip.

Negate

Creates a negative version of the clip.

Custom

Custom redirects information from one color channel to another.

To custom rewire:

1. Select Custom from the Rewire list.
2. Click a button under Custom and select a rewiring option from the list.

You can redirect the information from one channel into any of the other channels. You can also direct a pixel's luma value into a component, or make a negative of a channel's information.
