Gain Shortcuts, Saturate, and Contrast

There are five fields beside the Tonal Range buttons in the Basics controls. Saturate and Contrast provide quick access to the identical settings in the Color controls. For descriptions, see Setting Hue Shift, Saturate, and Contrast.

The other three controls are used to adjust the Gain controls in a result-oriented way.

Note: The RGB Gain value is applied after the other Gain fields, so changes to RGB Gain do not change the separate channel Gain fields or the Gain shortcut fields.

Temperature

Sets Gain using a scale from hot
(-100) to cool (100), which results in orange/red to blue. It affects the Red and Blue Gain fields.

Magenta-Green

Sets Gain using a scale from green (-100) to magenta (100). It affects the Red, Green, and Blue Gain fields.

Value

Sets Gain using a scale from dark (0) to bright (200). It affects the Red, Green, and Blue Gain fields.
