Opening Two Clips for Color Matching

If you are matching two clips, open both clips into a composite, and then apply a Color Corrector operator to the clip that you want to modify.

To open two clips for color matching:
  1. Choose File | Open.
  2. The Open file browser appears.

  3. Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Macintosh) the clips you want to color match.
  4. In the Open Footage dialog, click either Composite - 2D or Composite - 3D, and then click OK.

  5. In the Workspace panel, select the layer that you want to color correct and choose Operators | Color Correction | Discreet Color Corrector.
  6. The Color Corrector operator is applied to the selected clip.

  7. Use the color matching tools in the Color Corrector operator to match the two clips. See Matching Colors.
