Creating and Deleting Presets

You can create as many presets as you require. You can also create a preset and make it the default. The default preset settings will be used each time you create a new output.

To create a preset:
  1. In the Output Settings panel, set the Video Output, Audio Output, and Add to edit Bin options as required.
  2. Note: The Add to edit Bin options only appear on edit workstations.

  3. Click New.
  4. Enter a name in the Enter New Preset Name dialog that appears, then click OK.
  5. The current output settings are saved to the new preset name.

To delete a preset:
  1. Select the preset from the Preset list.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. A confirmation dialog appears; click OK to continue.
  4. The preset is deleted and the default preset is automatically selected.

Note: If you delete the default preset, the Preset list and settings for the selected output are set to the first preset in the list. This preset automatically becomes the default preset.

To make a preset the default:
  1. Select the preset from the Preset list.
  2. Click Make Default.
  3. The selected preset becomes the default. The default output settings are used to initialize new outputs until you specify other settings.

Note: The default preset is indicated by an asterisk (*) next to its name in the Preset list.
