About HTML Help
The key features of this browser-based HTML help system include:
- It works on multiple platforms (Windows 9x/NT/2000 and Macintosh).
- It works with multiple browsers (Netscape 4.x and Internet Explorer 4.x/5.x).
- The tabs in the left frame provide access to the table of contents and the full-text search.
- The frame on the right displays help pages and the index, and includes several navigation buttons (Previous Page, Next Page, Synchronize Contents, Help, and Index).
- You can use many of the standard browser features to find help quickly. These include Back, Forward, History, Find (On This Page), and Favorites (Bookmarks). After you click on the right frame, you can also press the Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down keys to scroll through the current help page. You can also print the help pages.
- The HTML help pages are uncompiled, so pages can be accessed individually. For example, we can provide updated pages when features change or errors are discovered.
