Troubleshooting
Here are a few notes to keep in mind if you have problems with this help system:
- When you resize the Netscape browser window on the Macintosh, the fonts used on the pages may change. Reload the page to fix this problem.
- A stylesheet controls how text on the HTML pages appears. For these help pages, the same stylesheet (document.css) is used for both Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers.
- If changing font sizes in your browser does not work, you can swap the default stylesheet with larger_fonts.css. This version of the stylesheet uses larger fonts. To use larger fonts:
- Rename document.css as old_document.css.
- Rename larger_fonts.css as document.css.
- Reload the help system in the browser.
Results vary between browsers. For best results, use the latest browsers.
Note: You can also customize other font attributes. For more details, view the stylesheet file in a text editor.
- This HTML help system uses JavaScript for the left frame and the Synchronize Contents button. No Java applets are used.
- The labels on the Contents and Search tabs of the help system are affected by the Regional Settings control panel (Windows) or the browser's Language preferences (Macintosh). The system currently supports English, French, and German.
