Mittagstal/Val Mesdì |
Marcello (our guide) was so satisfied (he probably enjoyed the tour
as much as ourselves) that, since we came home early, He and Enrico took
us for a second smaller and quicker tour.
Here are the picture taken on this second part of the day...it was
almost sundown, and we climbed a little the Piz Boè, before
coming down a pair of small couloirs...
On a terrace somewhere on Piz Boe' (Jan. 1994). From left to right :
Alberto, Matteo (me),
Chiara, Enrico, Matteo, Marcello
Turning our heads around, this was the panorama, the highest rock there
is the
SASSO CROCE
Trying to look cool (in truth I was tired to death)
And it showed (I used the lame excuse I wanted to avoid Alberto, who
was shooting the pic here)
Of course this is another chute....
Enrico, nearly arrived at the end of the run (and of the day)
Same for Chiara, tired but satisfied and happily smiling!
The path we took is just at the foot of this rock. Here we are at the
top of the PIZ BOE' cable car.
And it was the end of the day. Really.
