Piero Mocci nasce a Roma nel 1951, dove vive e lavora e dove ha iniziato la sua avventura con l'Arte.
Negli anni '70, si è occupato in prevalenza di grafica, realizzando numerose locandine per i piccoli Teatri d'avanguardia, Cabaret e locali alternativi, tanto in voga in quegli anni.
Suoi, molti manifesti dei teatri "La Stelletta", "Alberico" (famoso per gli esordi di Troisi, Verdone, Benigni), "Il Cantastorie", "Ripagrande", e scenografie ai "Dioscuri" all'Anfitrione", alla "Chanson".
Dopo un lungo periodo dedicato anche alla fotografia artistica, è stata naturale l'attrazione verso la pittura figurativa, che oggi risente visibilmente degli emozionanti "hobbies" del recente passato.
Ha partecipato a numerose personali e collettive in Italia, in Inghilterra, in Irlanda, in Ungheria. Molte sue opere sono presenti in collezioni private a New York, Parigi, Londra, Zurigo, Atene, Shangai ed in numerose altre città.

Piero Mocci was born in Rome in 1951, where he lives and works and where he began his adventure with Arts.
In the '70s he mostly worked on graphics, developing many play-bills for small avant-garde theatres, Cabarets and altenrnative places, so trendy at that time.
He made many posters for the theatres "La Stelletta", "Alberico" (famous for the debut of Troisi, Verdone, Benigni), "Il Cantastorie", "Ripagrande", and stage designes at the "Dioscuri", "Anfitrione" and "Chanson".
After a long period devoted also to the artistic photography, the attraction to the figurative painting has been natural , and today remebers the exciting "hobbies" of his recent past.
He took part in a lot of personal and collective exhibitions in Italy, England, Ireland and Ungary. Many paintings are exhibited in private collections in New York, Paris,London, Zurik, Athen, Shangay and mant other cities.
