1. PLACE OF THE RACES

   Riva del Garda (Lake Garda) - Italy

    

2. RACE PROGRAMM:

   On May 9th 2002 at 1.00 p.m. 1st race.

   The start of the following races will be communicated not later than 7 p.m. of the day before.

   For Int. 14' and 505 Classes there will be a separate regatta on 12th May with separate prize giving.

   Int. 14'* 505* 9 - 11 May 2002 (12 May separate regatta)

   Contender* 10 - 12 May 2002

    

    RACE RULES

   The races will be governed by I.S.A.F. Racing Rules (RRS), the prescriptions of the F.I.V., the Classes Rules, except as any of these are changed by the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions. The text of the Sailing Instructions will be available to competitors at the Fraglia Vela Riva Secretary Office from 9.00 a.m. on the day fixed for the first race.

    

    ELIGIBILTY

   All competitors must comply with enrolment of F.I.V. (Italian Sailing Federation) or of the Associations they belong to.

   All the sailing boats must have a valid measurement or rating certificate.

    LIABILITY

   Competitors will sail under they own risk. Fraglia della Vela and all Race Committees and the Jury decline any responsibility to persons or goods, at sea or ashore, in consequence of participation in the competitions.

   The competitors shall contract all insurances required to cover every risk, included that to a third party.

    

    SCORING SYSTEM

   It will be applied the low-point scoring system I.S.A.F.. - Appendix A2 and the FIV dispositions A2.3 Ties.

    

    ENTRIES

   The entry forms must reach the Fraglia della Vela - Riva del Garda, at least 3 days before the start of the race.

   The entry fees to be paid at the Fraglia della Vela secretary office beginning from 9 a.m. on the day fixed for the first start.

   The Regatta is classified as category C.
