ABOUT US

We are simply two OffRoad's fans, who into weekend, like driving far and wide in the Gallura's paths to search new tracks.

This passion have already been going on for many years, moved us on 1985 and 1986 into Tunisia - on the tracks of the Djerba500 ; to organize, with a Gallura's motoclub, competitions of enduro and motorally; to give our contribution for to prepare the Gallura's Roadbook of the Rally Corsica-Sardegna in '96 and the "Raid 4X4 Renault Minute" in '98, both of them organized by the LaRiviere Org. Paris.

Thanks to the knowledge of the place we can you offer, for a weekend, a trip of beyond 300 km, with 70% of paths, without moving itself from the Gallura.

If you live in Sardinia you haven't problems to join us, but if you live in the peninsula the problem becomes more difficult, because yours motobike or 4x4 with difficulty made you to cross the sea.

In this way, thanks to also to the Sardinia's climate , it is possible to organize a weekend off-road in the winter months. Also in winter you will appreciate the off-road in Sardinia: paths without powder, fords and all around the green of mediterranean vegetation.

HIRE

For those who don't want to carry yours motobike or 4x4 , at the moment are available for hire: 2 Yamaha TT600R, 2 quad Yamaha and 3 Nissan Terrano .-to contact for the charges-

The motobikes trip (at least 4 persons) two or more days, had at request the attendance of 4x4 to the follow for the transport of the luggage and/or spare parts

RATES

Single Day : Euro 36,00 -Attendance and guide ,bag lunch.

Bike Week End in Gallura (Saturday and Sunday) : From Euro 129,00 inclusive of attendance and guide, lunch-bag for Saturday and Sunday, dinner and Saturday's overnight stay to the Hotel Terranova to Olbia.

4X4 Week End in Gallura: Begginning from Euro 180,00 inclusive of attendance and guide, lunch-bag for Saturday and Sunday , dinner and Saturday's overnight stay to the Hotel Terranova to Olbia.

SMALL NEWS ON THE COUNTRIES THE WILL CROSS

OLBIA

Considered it since the ancient times the Sardinia's main gates, thanks to the deep inlet of its gulf, it have seen the passage of many civility: Punics, Phoenix, Carthagins and especially Romans, becoming a great natural harbour of connection between Sardinia and Ostia near Rome. After a decline period, due to frequently barbaric raids and the malaria, because of the various ponds that encircled it, the city to be born again from the XIsec. with the Giudicato of Gallura, changing many times the names in Olbia, Civita,Fausania,Terranova Pausania and as from 1939 newly Olbia.

Still today Olbia represents the port of call ( greater italian port for traffic of passengers) for many tourists that come to admire the natural beauties of its coast attracted from a name on all: the Costa Smeralda.

Also for us Olbia represents our point of departure and return for every trip

LUOGOSANTO

 To the center of the north Gallura, Luogosanto -2000 people- 350 m. alt., is dipped between forest of oaks and ilex in to interesting landscaped. Crossing its paths been possible to admire the characteristics "stazzi", the houses of the peasants and shepherds who lived the country . Some stazzi are still today live in , other are been modernize and are changed in hospitable tourist farm .

TEMPIO PAUSANIA

 A small Town to the feet of the massive of the Limbara Mount, could be defined the stone's city, for his characteristic buildings of the historical center builds up in gray Granito's stone that is still today possible to admire walking through the street near the Cathedral .

To go and see the famous Rinaggiu's Source, waters that gush out in means to a small wood, and not far away , along the road for Luogosanto, the Nuraghe Maiore

Optimal point of departure for several paths that winds up along all the massive of Monte Limbara (1359 m. ) from where is possible to admire a beautiful panorama of Gallura as far as the Corsica island.

MONTI

 Small but important village to the limit of a hollow , covered with beautiful forest of corks and above all of vineyards of Vermentino.

Here the Social Cave of Vermentino's Wine with his wines make famous this small country.

Interesting and amusing the paths winds up around to Monte Olia

BERCHIDDA

Country to the foot of the south site of the massive of Monte Limbara , also famous he for the cultivations of vineyards for the Vermentino's production (Giogantinu) . Point of departure or arrival for the paths that wind on the Monte Limbara . Not far away interesting the track after the dam of Coghinas Lake.

PADRU

Padru is situated to the center of one immense basin to the foot of the characteristic Monte Nieddu and rich hills of vineyards, olive-groves and cork's forest.

We'll not lack to taste the local products (wines, cheeses and salamis)

ALA' DEI SARDI

Other important country village, very interesting for his intact nature.

From though plateaus from the wild beauty we got to Tandalo', a village of shepherds by now abandoned.

BUDDUSO'

A small town between the Gallura and the Barbagia country. Become recently important for the extraction and the export of granito, that it constitutes an important source of income for the country.
