The stretch of Sardinian coast between Capo Testa and Capo Coda Cavallo boasts the Maddalena Arcipelago, Tavolara and Cape Coda Cavallo still protected only on paper.

It attracts a big slice of underwater tourism to the area, while most people know nothing of the wonderful variety of dives amongst the Italian granite, the 30 or so islands and the surface-breaking rock walls. Whit 19 diving centers to choose from, this is one of the best-equipped diving areas in the Mediterranean.
