Language: |
In response to the growth of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in California, the Chief Justice appointed a 21 person Task Force to study the impact of private ADR on courts, litigants and the public. The Task Force was charged with recommending what if anything, the State should do about public concerns regarding ethical standards and court referrals of cases to private neutrals. The Task Force was also asked whether greater use of ADR should be encouraged by the State and, if so, how. The Chair of the California Task Force will report its findings and conclusions. |
