Amid the chaos brought about by change, mergers and acquisitions... organizations are recognizing the real and immediate need for skills and systems to effectively address conflict and build collaboration. Interest-based bargaining, mediation and collaborative decision-making are essential skills for emerging and transforming organizations. This paper explores the ways organizations can integrate these skill sets into systems and processes that improve communication, build key relationships, result in better decisions and reduce an organization's exposure to the high cost of litigation.

Objective: Assist attendees by presenting information that provides a theoretical and practical framework for helping organizations integrate the skills and competencies of conflict resolution and mediation into the day-to-day management of their business.
