You can arrive with the freeway A-18 ME-CT exit Giarre, that is found on the east coast of the volcano. From Giarre contnue to Zafferana Etnea, on the slope of Etna to 800 mt. In Zafferana there is a beatiful Dome, some Garden and baby park where you can see a beautiful view towards valley. Numerous typical products of the zone can be acquired first of all the local honey. To pursue the tour you can go up, crossing numerous old lavaflows, until 2000 mt. Here there are refreshment rooms and the line of departure for the cableway.

ETNA FROM THE SATELLITE

It's a true show of the nature. Imposing and majestic it seems to dominate to all the island and it is visible from all the provinces.

For the people that want to go beyond, they organize excursions guided with appropriate cars until craters to the high quotas.

The volcano is a great Park "Etna Park" , a protected area that include small beautiful villages: Randazzo, Linguaglossa, Zafferana Etnea, Nicolosi etc.

ETNA BY NIGHT. In the night you can see better the beautiful view of the lavaflow and gas eruptions.
